My sweet, sweet friend (and Bayside Bride co-worker), Natalie tied the knot just last month to her boyfriend of 7 years! Her wedding was breathtaking. Everywhere you looked you saw love. I am thankful to not only be one of her friends, but was also a bridesmaid! She even let me head-up a couple of projects like table numbers, several chalkboards placed around the property proudly displaying the couple’s hashtag for Instagram and Twitter, and a few other projects. Here’s a glance at the table numbers and a chalkboard, created by Yours Truly. For more amazing shots of the wedding, check out the talented photographer Katelyn James or the bride’s very own blog post here. The photographs are courtesy of Katelyn James.
So lately, so many of my friends and family have upcoming weddings! I love wedding season, so I was happy to jump right in and offer my design services when it came to their invitations!
On May 28 2011, one of my 7th grade dreams came true and I married my now husband, Steve. Luckily, one of my good friends was there to photography the entire thing – Krista A. Jones. And thank goodness, too! My wedding was not only one of the best days of my life, but I was able to display some of my talents and creativity! I designed the invitations for my wedding, as well as the programs, seating tags, seat backs, menu, table numbers, guest book, wedding sign, boutonneires, and my present to my husband – cornhole in our school’s mascots and colors. Yes, I built them and painted them myself. Check it out!
Last summer, I helped put together a shoot for Bayside Bride with a garden theme at Historic London Town and Garden. For the shoot, I helped with set design, created the drink labels, and lettered the chalkboard instructions. We had a blast! Thanks to Krista A. Jones Photography, Natalie Franke Photography and Sweet Tea Photography for the images.
Last Fall, we – Bayside Bride – put together a shoot at Richardson Farms located in northern Maryland. The shoot went fantastically. I created a couple of things for the shoot, like carved pumpkins, wood-burned a guest board for the couple, designed the invitations and menu, and lettered out the chalkboards. Special thanks to Krista A. Jones Photography and Natalie Franke Photography for taking all the pictures. Check out some of the shoot:
Last year a couple approached me to see if I would be willing to create and design a chalkboard for them for their wedding. It would display the wedding party and the seating arrangements. Their wedding was in January 2013 … Continue reading
One of our latest inspirational shoots on Bayside Bride featured a bridal shower. I lettered out the words on the chalkboard, as well as designed the set for the shoot. Thanks to Natalie Franke Photography for the picture.
