Freelance – Invitation Design
So lately, so many of my friends and family have upcoming weddings! I love wedding season, so I was happy to jump right in and offer my design services when it came to their invitations!
My Very Own Wedding
On May 28 2011, one of my 7th grade dreams came true and I married my now husband, Steve. Luckily, one of my good friends was there to photography the entire thing – Krista A. Jones. And thank goodness, too! My wedding was not only one of the best days of my life, but I was able to display some of my talents and creativity! I designed the invitations for my wedding, as well as the programs, seating tags, seat backs, menu, table numbers, guest book, wedding sign, boutonneires, and my present to my husband – cornhole in our school’s mascots and colors. Yes, I built them and painted them myself. Check it out!
Bayside Bride Garden Shoot
Last summer, I helped put together a shoot for Bayside Bride with a garden theme at Historic London Town and Garden. For the shoot, I helped with set design, created the drink labels, and lettered the chalkboard instructions. We had a blast! Thanks to Krista A. Jones Photography, Natalie Franke Photography and Sweet Tea Photography for the images.
Fall Wedding Shoot
Last Fall, we – Bayside Bride – put together a shoot at Richardson Farms located in northern Maryland. The shoot went fantastically. I created a couple of things for the shoot, like carved pumpkins, wood-burned a guest board for the couple, designed the invitations and menu, and lettered out the chalkboards. Special thanks to Krista A. Jones Photography and Natalie Franke Photography for taking all the pictures. Check out some of the shoot:
